For example, we are leaving for a week out of state, I was asked by Dick if we would be able to get everything in a carry-on bag and not have to check luggage.
What? No!
Seven days means 7 outfits and 2 or 3 extra just in case I spill something and have to change in the middle of the day, plus, of course shoes for each outfit. Add all the other ‘stuff’ (jewelry, make-up, hair products, various chargers for phones, cameras, etc, medicines, books to read, jackets in case it gets cool, dressy outfits, – I think you get the idea.)
Carry-on! Please! I’m taking a TRUNK.
